Why a due amount without a date is easy to forget
Recording that a client owes money is only half of the job. You also need to know when the payment is expected and when someone should act. The extension connects due amounts, next payment dates and reminder settings to the client record.
Payment due and overdue notifications
When a client has an outstanding due amount and a next payment date, the reminder checker can create a payment notice as the date approaches. If the date passes, the notice can be classified as overdue. The exact message includes the client name, currency, due amount and timing context.
Subscription renewal and expiry reminders
Recurring services can use subscription start, expiry, next payment date and reminder days. This is useful for internet service, maintenance, retainers, memberships, support contracts and other recurring client work.
Follow-up reminders are separate from payment reminders
A customer may need a sales or support follow-up even when no money is due. The notification system treats follow-ups as their own category and can remind you shortly before the scheduled time. Future follow-ups remain pending until someone explicitly completes them.
Use the notification center to triage work
The full-page notification center includes All, Unread, Follow-up, Payment and Subscription filters plus search. Mark-all-read and clear actions help keep the list usable.
This turns reminders into a lightweight work queue rather than a series of isolated browser popups.
What reminders do not do
The extension does not automatically message the customer or collect money. A notification is an internal prompt for you or your team. You still decide whether to open the WhatsApp chat, call the client, send an invoice or take another appropriate action.
A practical recurring-client workflow
When you create a subscription product, choose the billing model, assign it to the client, save the subscription dates, generate invoices as needed and record payments. Use the reminder lead time to surface the client before renewal or payment becomes overdue.
