Why one generic invoice design is not enough for every business
A SaaS company, law firm, restaurant, construction contractor and ISP all send invoices, but the visual expectations are different. The template library provides niche-specific starting points without creating 1,000 separate invoice engines.
How the 1,000-template library is organized
The website contains 1,000 template add-ons across 250 business niches. Each niche has multiple visual variations, and the library can be filtered by industry, business niche and style. Examples include SaaS, restaurant, ISP billing, law firm, construction and real estate.
A template changes presentation only
The JSON add-on can control safe presentation values such as accent colors, muted colors, borders, paper styling, alternate rows and font choices. It does not contain a client list, product prices, quantities, discounts, payment history or due amount.
This separation is important because a visual theme should never be able to change business calculations.
How to import a custom invoice template
Preview the design on the website, download the JSON, open the extension and go to Settings → Invoice Templates → Choose File → Import add-on. Custom template import is a Pro feature.
If you only want to browse or download the JSON files from the website, no website license verification is required.
Use a template as a brand starting point
Choose a template that matches your industry, then use your own company name, logo, address and invoice data in the extension. The theme is the presentation layer; your company and client data remain separate.
When to keep the default built-in styles
If you need a simple invoice quickly, the built-in styles may be enough. Custom template add-ons are most useful when invoice appearance is part of your brand or when you serve a niche that benefits from a more tailored visual.
