A contact list is more useful with context
A phone number alone does not tell you why the contact matters. A short note such as “requested price list”, “renew next week” or “group admin” can turn an export into a useful working list.
Save only the contacts you need
The WhatsApp Chats tab is a synced source list. Saved Clients is your curated list. Open a row, edit the name or number if needed, write a private note and choose Save Client. This prevents hundreds of synced chats from automatically becoming permanent saved contacts.
Open Chat directly
Saved contacts include an Open Chat action. This lets you return to the WhatsApp Web conversation without manually searching the sidebar again.
Local-first notes
Notes and saved contact records are designed to remain in extension/browser storage. If you need a portable copy, export the saved list to XLSX or CSV. Remember that clearing browser storage or removing the extension may remove local saved data.
Free vs Pro
Free users can save up to 20 contacts. Pro removes that product limit and adds unlimited saved contacts plus import features for existing spreadsheets.
