Why export a WhatsApp contact list?
A busy WhatsApp chat list is useful for conversation, but it is difficult to sort, review, deduplicate or hand to another business tool. A spreadsheet gives you a structured working copy of the contact details that are available in your signed-in WhatsApp Web session.
Step 1: open the extractor
Open WhatsApp Web, then open the extension and click Extract. The normal sync creates a fast working list from the chats currently available in the web interface.
Step 2: use Deep Scan when needed
If some rows show names without resolved phone numbers, start Deep Scan. It checks chats sequentially and records details that WhatsApp Web makes available. Let it finish, or pause and resume when necessary.
Step 3: select and export
After scanning, review the results, select the contacts you need, then export to XLSX or CSV. Save important contacts as clients when you want notes, products or invoices attached to them.
What the workflow does not do
It does not reveal hidden information or guarantee a phone number for every chat. A blank unresolved field is safer than guessing the identity of a contact.
